This is a photo of my children and I at a coffee plantation in Monteverde Costa Rica during a recent trip we took. We got to make our own sugar cane candy, see how coffee beans are roasted, and share a homemade cup of coffee with the plantation's family. It was a lot of fun!

Chronic inflammation is known to be associated with increase risk of chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease and arthritis. One way to fight that inflammation is through nutrition.
